Job description
Process monthly salaries for clients on VIP Payroll system and attend to all related administration
Duties and responsibilities
- Fulfil and complete payroll function for external clients
- Perform all tax year-end administration, bi-annual reconciliations and submissions
- Advise clients on payroll and tax related issues
- Resolve all SARS related queries, including relevant registrations
- Complete leave management administration
- Plan work and assignment of tasks
- Compile payroll related statistics and reports
- Resolve client queries
- Maintain WIP time tracking
- Complete COIDA submissions
Candidate Requirements
- Grade 12 qualification and/or BComm or Tax related qualification
- At least 3 – 5 years experience within a similar position
- Excellent VIP Premier knowledge and proficiency is essential
- Knowledge of BCEA
- Sound tax knowledge
- Proficiency in MS Office particularly Excel
- Proficiency in SARS Easyfile and e-filing
- Proficiency in VIP Report Writer, ODBC and BIM report writers (Advantageous)
- Sound financial and accounting knowledge
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- High customer service levels and professional conduct
- Ability to manage time and workflow activities effectively
- Excellent communication skills
